Employment results for december 2006

Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic published employment results and average wages in some branches of national economy on 8th February 2007. Its results show growing tendency of employment in a building industry, wholesale trade, hotels and restaurants. Decreasing tendency results are in a telecommunications and posts.

The employment was growing together with increasing of average wages in all branches. The higher average wage growth was in telecommunications (more than 20 %), the lowest in building industry (only 2 %).
