February 2019: number of unemployed at the labour offices: 174028, of which 65365 are long term unemployed, unemployment rate 6.3% (2.4% long term unemployment)

Highest unemployment: Rimavská Sobota 19.9% (11.8%), Revúca 18.7% (9.7%), Kežmarok 17.4% (8.1%), Rožňava 16.8% (8.6%), Vranov nad Topľou 16.2% (7.4%)

Lowest unemployment:: Bratislava V 2.2%, Trenčín 2.4%, Hlohovec 2.5%, Galanta 2.6%, Trnava 2.7%
