May 2019: number of unemployed at the labour offices: 164957, of which 61307 are long term unemployed, unemployment rate 6.0% (2.2% long term unemployment)

Highest unemployment: Rimavská Sobota 19.4% (11.3%), Revúca 18.5% (9.6%), Kežmarok 17.5% (7.7%), Rožňava 15.4% (8.4%), Vranov nad Topľou 15.1% (7.1%)

Lowest unemployment:: Bratislava V 2.0%, Trenčín 2.2%, Trnava 2.6%, Hlohovec 2.6%, Myjava 2.6%
